• What is a 3 Minute Wonder?

A 3 minute wonder is a documentary type video, aired  in the middle of the channel's weekday primetime schedule. It gives first time directors and producers a chance to air their work to a larger audience. 

• What is the aim / purpose of a 3 Minute Wonder?

The purpose of my 3 minute wonder is to inform people of a difficult topic, hopefully to change their views on said topic.

• What sort of topic would you expect to see on a 3 Minute Wonder?

Topics such as mental health, poverty and health - to do with younger kids and older adults.

• why you like them

Gemma: I like this because the information about being treated with cancer, at such a young age, comes straight from the victim themselves and it's not an overall assumption - it's straight from the horses mouth.

Last Supper: I like this because even though he's incarcerated and on death row, he still cares more about his family than he does himself; he knows it will be harder for them and he's taking responsibility for his actions. You can see that he's accepted his fate.

Ashley: I like this because the kid, Ashley, he doesn't seem scared - probably because he's had 7 operations, i like how the nurses entertain him and keep him smiling it's sweet and heart warming.

• what you have learned from watching them

Gemma: What it is like for cancer patients, what the food is like in certain hospitals, the strength it takes to fight cancer.

Last Supper: What its like on death row, how criminals feel about death penalty. We learnt that he deserved his penalty for murdering 4 women.

Ashley: We learn how nurses and doctors treat the younger patients, I learnt that kids with problems like Ashley are strong.
